I am Zsolt Molnár aka Zsutti, born 1982, living in the capital of Hungary. I am a photographic enthusiast currently occupied as an art director in the advertising industry. This is my typo-photographic project that I started in Summer 2008, focusing on the typographical diversity of Budapest’s street numbers. On this blog I will post a number each day in 2009. 365 different types of street numbers hopefully.
I became quite obsessed during the process. Combining three things that play important roles in my life - photography, typography and riding the bike - I came across many streets of Budapest to collect the most interesting looking numbers. The more numbers I have, the harder it gets...
By now I have crossed the 1000 2000 3000 km line on the bike, while searching for these numbers. I broke several sunglasses, invested into special bikebag for my gear, met mad dogs and curious doormen, and all these unforseen circumstances make this project an adventure.
Recommended not only for typophiles.

All photos were shot in RAW format, color adjustments were made in Capture NX2 (Levels, Saturation, sometimes D-lightning adjustments). For perspective correction and cropping I use Photoshop CS3. I log the numbers in a simple Excel table and placemark them in Google Earth to ease geotagging.

itt pedig felszínre tör a bringafüggőség…
ugyanis messziről – a monitor mögül – úgy tűnik mintha prizmából készült volna a házszám
sötétben biztosan világít is, bár foghíjasnak tűnik a középső nulla miatt
Nem tévedsz nagyot, ugyanis ez a házszám tényleg prizmából készült!
Komoly!
Mekkora ötlet! (A 125-ös szám alatti link gyengélkedik!)
De durva! Ez 7szegmensű kijelző vásári cukornyalókából! A láttatin nem kívánt rész kisatírozandó/elnyalandó.
